Meet Brent Hancock
Brent Hancock is the director of Ablewest. His career in residential building began in 1997 as an apprentice carpenter. During his 4-year Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship he began studying in the evenings for his Diploma of Builders Registration which he completed in 2001. Brent continued in the project housing market until 2003 where he then went to Queensland to broaden his carpentry knowledge.
He worked for a number of years on new large timber framed architecturally designed houses and along the way was introduced to home renovations. This is where his passion of renovations started. Brent obtained his QLD Builders License and still maintains it. In 2007 Brent moved back to Perth with goals in mind.
Brent then received his WA Builders License and set up Ablewest Construction Pty Ltd in 2010.
Since then, he has taken on many challenges and unique designs with the aim of always exceeding owners’ expectations. Brent really has a passion for building, in particular renovations.
Brent continues to remain hands on during many of his projects he completes to ensure all the finer details are given the required attention to be executed to the highest level with his niche group of quality trades by his side.
