West Australian heritage mortar pointing On This Federation House by a renovation Builder Fremantle

With continued rising damp issues and water ingress our long-term clients contacted us to attend to their previously badly repaired wall. With all the concrete repairs removed many steps were taken to return the wall to its original state and materials used in its original construction. With a redesign of the walk path to ensure better drainage now periodic maintence to the lime mortar wall can continue to breath an inevitably let the internal walls dry out. The walk path was redesigned for better drainage and made into a singular walk way. The after photos speak for themselves and as this is at our client’s main street entry, they were very happy to see such a beautiful wall again when entertaining. The cut and strike method was used in the repointing of the heritage brickwork which is a signature feature of West Australian heritage mortar pointing.
